life is just a flower waiting to bloom
how long am i supposed to be stuck in this room
darkness clouds the restless mind
i knew i was kind
it was a decision that i didnt want to make
her heart was something i didnt want to break
rain poured and washed away
the pain that was at bay
the beautiful night was fading away
i knew i coudnt stay
memories of my past flickered in a moment
i smiled for that instance
as 20 was erased
and 21 took place
a new chapter arose from within
i knew tis was a new beginning
